- Scientific name: Hybrid between Acineta densa and Acineta cryptodonta.
- Origin: Parent species are native to the rainforests of Central America (Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia).
- Natural habitat: Epiphytic, in cloudy and shaded forests, between 1,000 and 2,000 m in altitude.
2. Cultivation Conditions (Lot of 14 in vitro plants)
Temperature
- Day: 18–24°C.
- Night: 13–15°C.
- To avoid: <10°C or >28°C.
Humidity
- Ideal rate: 70–80%.
Light
- Intensity: Filtered light (east/west window or greenhouse shading).
- To avoid: Direct sunlight during hot hours.
Watering
- Post-deflasking / Post-transplanting: Regular watering, allow to dry out slightly between waterings.
Fertilizer
- Guideline: Start applying fertilizer only when new roots emerge and at a reduced 1/2 dose, strictly during the growth period.
Ventilation
- Acclimation: Gradually increase ventilation after transplanting.
