Scientific name: Hybrid between Cattleya violacea 'semi alba flamea' and Cattleya violacea 'tipo'.
 
 
Origin: Rainforests of South America (Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Peru).
 
 
Natural habitat: Epiphytic, growing on tree branches and trunks in shaded and well-ventilated areas, between 200 and 1,000 m in altitude.

Day: 20–26°C.
 
 
Night: 14–16°C.
 
 
To avoid: <12°C or >30°C.

Humidity
 
 
Ideal rate: 65–75%.

Light
 
 
Intensity: Bright but indirect light (east/west window or light shading in a greenhouse).
 
 
To avoid: Direct sunlight during hot hours.

Watering
 
 
In vitro: Keep the medium slightly moist, avoid standing water.
 
 
Post-deflasking / Post-transplanting: Regular watering, allow to dry out slightly between waterings.
