 Scientific name : Coryanthes leucocorys Rchb.f.
 
 
 Origin : Humid forests of Central America (Costa Rica, Panama).
 
 
 Natural habitat : Epiphyte, growing on branches and tree trunks in shaded, very humid and well-ventilated areas, between 500 and 1,500 m altitude.

 Temperature
 
 
 Day: 18–24°C.
 
 
 Night: 13–15°C.
 
 
 Avoid temperatures below 12°C or above 28°C.

 Humidity
 
 
 Ideal rate: 75–85%.

 Light
 
 
 Intensity: Dim to low light (north-facing window or dense shade in a greenhouse).
 
 
 Avoid: Direct sunlight.

 Watering
 
 
 In vitro: Keep the medium constantly moist, avoid stagnant water.
 
 
 Post-transplanting: Water frequently to maintain moisture, but not excessively.

 Fertilizer
 
 
 In vitro: Very diluted nutrient solution (1/4 dose) every 2 weeks.
 
 
 Post-transplanting: Orchid fertilizer (1/2 dose) during active growth.
