1. Identification and Origin Scientific name: Epidendrum tridens Poepp. & Endl. Origin: Humid forests of South America (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia). Natural habitat: Epiphytic or lithophytic, growing on branches, tree trunks, or rocks in shaded and well-ventilated areas, between 1,500 and 2,500 m altitude.

2. Growing Conditions (Lot of 14 in vitro plants) Temperature Day: 18–24°C. Night: 10–14°C. To avoid: <8°C or >28°C. Humidity Ideal rate: 70–80%. Light Intensity: Filtered to medium light (east/west window or light shade cloth in a greenhouse). To avoid: Direct sun during hot hours. Watering In vitro: Keep the medium slightly moist, avoid stagnant water. Post-replanting: Regular watering, let dry slightly between two applications. Fertilizer In vitro: Diluted nutrient solution (1/4 dose) every 2 weeks. Post-replanting: Orchid fertilizer (1/2 dose) during active growth. 3. Conditions de Culture (Lot de 14 plantes in vitro)

Température

• Jour : 18–24°C.

• Nuit : 10–14°C.

• À éviter : <8°C ou >28°C.

Humidité

• Taux idéal : 70–80%.

Lumière

• Intensité : Lumière tamisée à moyenne (fenêtre est/ouest ou ombrière légère en serre).

• À éviter : Soleil direct aux heures chaudes.

Arrosage

• In vitro : Maintenir le milieu légèrement humide, éviter l’eau stagnante.

• Post-repiquage : Arrosage régulier, laisser sécher légèrement entre deux apports.

Engrais

• In vitro : Solution nutritive diluée (1/4 de dose) toutes les 2 semaines.

• Post-repiquage : Engrais pour orchidées (1/2 dose) pendant la croissance active.
